Third Thursday Poetry Open Mic is now Poetry Underground on the second Thursday!
Still held at Brian Ohme’s studio located on Columbia Street between Yakima and Kittitas Streets in Wenatchee.
Still free, still open to the public, still poetry-only.
Plan to arrive at about 5:00 to socialize and get a drink. The reading runs from 5:30-6:30. Read your own poem(s) or something by a favorite or a newly discovered poet. It’s casual, it’s friendly, it’s fun!
On Columbia Street, walk through the silver metal gate next to the building on the left with painted sign “Wells & Wade.” Straight head is a loading dock – go up those stairs. There should be a sandwich board indicating “poetry.” There’s a doorbell. Someone will come and let you in.
