The Poetry Cafe is an informal, intimate gathering of people who like to read and discuss poems, whether or not they write poems themselves.
We select the poems in advance and notify each other via email. We choose poems from a variety of poets, styles and time periods. In the past we’ve discussed the work of Shane Koyczan, Stanley Kunitz, Louise Gluck, Emily Dickinson and Billy Collins. There’s plenty more to explore!
The Poetry Cafe is held monthly at the home of Susan Blair.
