WHEN: Third Thursday of the month. Gather at 4:30. Reading starts at 5:00.
This is a free, poetry-only public reading. Read your own work or read a poem you like by someone else. You will find a receptive, congenial audience eager to hear what you’ve got. The host, Susan Blair, introduces each reader.
You don’t have to be a poet. All you need is an interest in poetry, a love for the spoken word, an enjoyment of the arts and the desire to support and encourage the folks who read. Feel free to just sit and listen.
Sometimes we partner poetry with music, singing, dancing or other art forms to get even more creative.
Join us! Bring your own beverage (alcohol okay, with discretion). The atmosphere is casual, intimate and welcoming.
