Third Thursday Poetry Open Mic has Changed!

We are now Poetry Underground and meet on the second Thursday of the month.

The reading starts at 5:30 now. Socializing starts at 5:00.

The venue is the same: Brian Ohme’s studio on Columbia Street between Yakima and Kittitas Streets in Wenatchee. The concept is the same: read your own poem(s) or someone else’s, something that moves you which you’re eager to share. This is a poetry-only event.

There’s easy free parking on Wenatchee Avenue between Yakima and Kittitas Streets and thereabouts.

From there, walk down to Columbia Street. Walk through the open silver metal gate next to the building on the left with the Wells & Wade sign. Head for the stairs to the loading dock straight ahead. You should see a sandwich board indicating “poetry.” There’s a doorbell; someone will come and let you in.

Feel free to bring snacks and/or drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic).

Please join us next time! The atmosphere is always casual, intimate and welcoming. And we often get into interesting discussions about poetry, art, language, etc.
